Partnership
Award
Homer L. Wilkes, State Conservationist, was presented the Mississippi Resource
Conservation and Development Council's 2007 Partnership Award at the
Association's annual meeting, April 18, 2007.
Wilkes accepted the award from RC&D Council President, Martha Watts of
Brookhaven. Mississippi NRCS worked in partnership efforts with the RC&D
Councils to help with Hurricane Katrina clean-up efforts, community and economic
development and other council projects across the state.
